7 SECRET BENEFITS OF RAW HONEY

You've probably heard about how healthy Raw Honey is for you. But there is so much to learn about honey that scientists and nutritionalists are discovering new health benefits every day!

For example, did you know that honey is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and can kill any germs it comes in contact with? It works as such a good preservative, that honey has existed when dinosaurs roamed the earth AND it will never spoil if kept in an air-tight container! They've even discovered honey in the tombs of the Egyptians that is still good to this day! How wild is that?

Raw Honey contains ALL of the NECESSARY INGREDIENTS to keep you ALIVE AND HEALTHY

  • Vitamins
  • Enzymes
  • Minerals
  • Water
By adding organic cocoa powder to our already amazing raw honey, we've multiplied its health benefits. Health gurus have been looking for a miracle product like this. What we've come up with will not only boost your immune system, but it will give you an extreme edge on a healthier lifestyle

And it literally tastes like chocolate frosting.

Today, we're going to share with you several of our Chocolate Whip Honey's amazing properties and you’ll definitely be wanting to eat a spoonful of it from now on. (Your doctor will be glad you did)

SUPPORT YOUR WEIGHT LOSS GOALS

I know what you are thinking. Can I really lose weight by eating chocolate whip honey?

YES!  Supporting your weight loss goals is one of the many health benefits of consuming honey...

Now, normally, if you are watching your weight, Doctors would recommend excluding all sugar based sweetsbut NOT HONEY. That’s because the sugars found in honey has a different composition than that found in other sweeteners.

Honey actually BOOSTS your metabolism, which is essential for weight loss.

Losing weight eating something sweet? Sounds insane, right?

But unlike refined white sugar, honey also contains minerals and vitamins that are beneficial for your body. What’s more, you’ll find honey has lots of nutrients such as fiber, protein and water.

So...it’s NOT Just Empty Calories

But it's not just the honey that is helping you lose weight...Cocoa has been proved to reduce obesity as well. Excess fat deposit takes place in the arteries as well, leading to their blockage, but cocoa is rich in flavanol which improves the lipid profile and brings the body fat level down to normal.

This happens only when a small quantity of cocoa is ingested on a regular basis. So talking to your doctor about adding a spoonful a day of our chocolate whip honey should be high on your list if you are fighting obesity.

LOWER CHOLESTEROL

Okay, we're going to get a little technical for a moment. Remember, when we talk about cholesterol, there are two kinds in your body. Good cholesterol (HDL) is extremely important to some of the functions of our body, but at the same time bad cholesterol (LDL) can lead to the number one cause of death…heart disease.
  • LDL or Low-Density Lipoprotein – These are commonly referred to as the ‘bad cholesterol.' It is because LDL causes a build-up of cholesterol in the arteries, which leads to a blockage in them.
  • HDL or High-Density Lipoprotein – These are known as the ‘good cholesterol.' They remove the excess cholesterol from various parts of the body and bring it back to the liver which eliminates it.
While honey itself HAS NO CHOLESTEROL, the constituted components and vitamins in raw honey contribute to decreasing levels of the bad cholesterol. In fact, it's so good at this, medical professionals recommend that...
Daily consumption of raw honey has a beneficial effect on the level of antioxidant compounds in the body that can fight excess bad cholesterol.
At the same time, our Chocolate Whip Honey takes managing cholesterol levels to another level by adding organic cocoa powder. A study involving obese women suggests that cocoa helps in decreasing the fats and improving the lipid profile while showing a positive effect on the high-density lipoprotein level.

Further research reported that individuals with type 2 diabetes showed an improvement in their cholesterol profile after consuming cocoa on a regular basisThe plaque in their arteries decreased significantly, and the HDL cholesterol level increased without an increase in their body weight.

What does this Mean? Cocoa reduces blood cholesterol and also brings the glucose level in blood down. This is an advantage for type 2 diabetes patients. Our whip honey paired with cocoa powder is the perfect way to fight high cholesterol numbers without drugs.

HELPS BUILD A STRONGER HEART

Research shows that the antioxidants found in honey can prevent arteries from narrowing which is key in keeping your heart healthy. Depending on the place of the currents, narrowing can lead to cardiac failure, memory deterioration or headaches.

Drinking a glass of water with a few spoonfuls of honey will be enough to prevent that.

A study has been conducted that involved 25 men from 18 – 70 years old. They were given a big glass of water and 4 tablespoons of honey to drink. After some time, it was noted The men had raised levels of antioxidants in their blood.

In a similar study, it was discovered upon daily intake of flavanol-rich cocoa that the chances of cardiovascular diseases were reduced to very low. Remember, Cocoa reduces the bad cholesterol levels, increases the good cholesterol and prevents any blockage in the arteries.

This helps in keeping the heart healthy and decreases cardiovascular risk without leading to any weight gain.

What does this Mean? An increase in the blood pressure can lead to some severe heart diseases. Our chocolate whip honey can lower blood pressure by dilating the arteries.

ENCOURAGES BETTER MEMORY

Have you noticed that you have lost the ability to concentrate? Do you catch yourself being absent minded? Don’t worry…eat honey!

Other research demonstrates, honey can reduce stress, restore the cellular antioxidant defense system, and, as a consequence, improve memory.

The calcium found in honey is easily ingested by the brain, which has a beneficial effect on its functioning. In another long lasting study which was conducted from 2003 to 2008 and involved about 3000 senior citizens, it was proved that ingesting honey dramatically lowers the chances of developing dementia.

Eager to try it out? There’s nothing simpler! Eat one or two spoonfuls of honey just before you go to bed (in this case it will also boost your metabolism that tends to slow down at night) or 30 minutes before breakfast (in this case it might also help with any stomach disease you might have)

GET BETTER SLEEP

Getting ready for sleep with a hot cup of cocoa or chocolate is something that many people have been doing for generations, but did you know that there really is science behind it?

One of the things that can stop you from falling or staying asleep is worry or anxiety about your day, the next day, or other things. A recent study found that cocoa helps stressed-out mice sleep better, and another study found evidence that drinking cocoa mitigates the effects of anxiety on people. Drinking a cup of water or milk containing some teaspoons of 100% pure cocoa or chocolate might help you cope better with stress or anxiety and help you sleep better.

This may be because cocoa or chocolate ameliorates the body’s physical signs of stress and that, in turn, feeds back to the brain by calming someone and helping them sleep.

A systematic review of 42 randomized trials found that, after drinking cocoa, people had improved flow-mediated dilatation, lower diastolic blood pressure, and lower arterial pressure. That supports the wider literature showing that consuming cocoa helps the cardiovascular system and, through biofeedback, a cardiovascular system in a good state might help someone feel more relaxed and sleepy.

The sugars contained in raw honey actually increase the levels of insulin contained in the blood which then releases serotonin which is further transformed into melatonin, a hormone that creates quality sleep. People who have started taking just one spoonful of honey before bed, are amazed.

They call it GOLDEN MEDICINE and have the most complete and restful sleep ever.
Perhaps it’s time to try it out?

IMPROVES DIGESTION

Honey is a strong antiseptic, so as we’ve already mentioned, it’s recommended to eat a spoonful of honey on an empty stomach. This ritual helps to prevent various diseases which are associated with the digestive track. While passing through the stomach, honey destroys small germs and heals small wounds in the mucus membrane.

Have you ever had that feeling that you were about to burst after a great family dinner or birthday party? It is honey that will keep you in tact and will sooth the stomach in the case of over eating.

If you know you are likely to try some of each dish at a church potluck or corporate party, take one spoonful of honey in advance, later it will help you in case of indigestion. But if a heavy meal is already behind, and you don’t feel so great, drink warm water with honey and lemon it will help you to get better.

RELIEVE NERVOUS TENSION

It might sound odd, but it’s a fact, honey helps to sooth the nerves and relieve fatigue. The glucose that is found in honey is essential for the work of neurons, is quickly absorbed into the blood which furthers relaxation and eliviation of phsycological disorders

Honey is an amazing product, isn’t it.
But you have to get REAL RAW HONEY…not easily found on the store shelves in order for these amazing health benefits to take effect. Anything else, and you could be harming your body with fake honey which is nothing more than corn syrup.

Meet the Family Behind the Honey

Whip Honey is Our Family's Sweet New Take on Traditional Raw Honey

Chris Miller is the owner and "King Bee" at Bee King's Honey where our family has been producing and packaging raw honey since 2013. Always raw, never heated, and 100% Pure is our standard for every jar of delicious honey that leaves the shop. Whip Honey is one of the most imaginative and exciting signature products that Bee King's produces, we take all the amazing health benefits of our raw honey and mix it with one or two all-natural ingredients for an added boost of flavor and even more natural health. It's a 3-day process of chilling and churning the honey until it becomes smooth and spreadable. The result is a secretly healthy spread with a variety of flavors the whole family will enjoy.

FAQ

Where is Your Honey Sourced?
We source our honey from our own beehives and the hives of beekeepers we know and trust. We are committed to all-natural, chemical free beekeeping. And the honey is always raw, never diluted and 100% from the USA! Our personal bees are based in Texas!
Is honey safe for people with diabetes?
The short answer is yes, but only under certain conditions and you should ALWAYS consult your doctor as well.  In moderation, honey isn’t only safe, but it has anti-inflammatory properties that might also reduce diabetes complications. People living with diabetes have to control and manage their carbohydrate and sugar intake. This doesn’t mean they have to avoid sweets altogether.
Where can I reorder the Whip Honey?
Each jar has a QR Code for quick re-ordering from our BeeKings.com website. You'll find all of our products listed there, but our bundled offers like the one on this page are ALWAYS the best price when you find them.
Is your Whip Honey still Raw?
Raw honey is best described as honey “as it exists in the beehive.” It can be lightly strained and poured straight into the bottle, bypassing commercial
processing methods. The enzymes and health benefits of raw honey are lost when heated above hive temperature or micro-filtered. Our whipping process actually chills and churns the honey (it is never heated) which preserves all of the health benefits of Raw Honey...just in a whipped form.
What do you add to Whip Honey?
No added ingredients are used in the whipping process whatsoever. Think of it as a crystalized honey in a smooth, spreadable form. However, our flavored whip honey varieties do add one all-natural ingredient to each batch. For example: Our Chocolate honey has an organic, dark cocoa powder added. No added sugar, creamer or any other ingredients are included.
How long will my Whip honey last?
Whip Honey has the same shelf life as the honey found in the tombs of the Egyptians...over 3,000 years. However, in our home, it usually doesn't last but a week or two because it tastes so good. :-)
